On August 21, 2017 a total solar eclipse will cross the continental United States from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. The last time a total eclipse crossed the United States from sea to sea was June 8, 1918. It is truly an historic event and a wonderful opportunity to view one of nature's most stunning displays. In Athens, this eclipse can be observed as a partial solar eclipse with 99.15% coverage of the sun.
This eclipse is likely to be the most viewed ever. A good location to watch the eclipse will be one with wide-open spaces with little light pollution. OnlineAthens has the perfect place for you. Join us at Terrapin Beer Co. and celebrate this historic event.
Come out for an afternoon of fun in and out of the sun! See the details of this cosmic celebration below.
